Pros

Recent salary increase is competitive to surrounding agencies. Training academy on site.

Cons

Leadership's inability to adapt to change and overcome enflated egos. Cart before the horse, low morale, and losing more employees than they can hire. Vehicle fleet is deteriorating and the motor pool is full of totaled vehicles. Most "patrol certified" vehicles have over 150k miles and are repaired with duck tape and zip ties (no joke). Patrol is so short they're pulling bodies from other units and corrections is so short they've mandated overtime coverage for patrol deputies.
