Pros

Good pay & benefits.

Cons

CEO was a pervert & would make inappropriate comments. Everyone knew the way he was & did nothing. They were scared to speak up & possibly loose their job. Board of Directors were all his buddies so good luck! He has recently retired so we will see if it gets better. Very corrupt environment with administration - they all need to go to get any improvement.

Many bonus opportunities, support continuous improvements, middle management easy to work for.

Cons

Cookie cutter nursing philosophy, every nurse can do every job. Infers nursing across all scopes of care is easy and interchangeable. Not the case!

Pros

Good people, generally patient focused. Not too many huge egos. Pretty good benefits. Flexible schedules. Management is generally good to work with / for.

Cons

Big enough to have big company problems but not big enough to afford big company solutions. The KU Med purchase adds a touch of uncertainty.
