Pros

Solid open source community and technology, which is used widely through the Enterprise.

Cons

Greg Luck is an inept CEO, who has no idea how to run a company, who also is primarily a part time ceo, who "works" from Australia most of the time. He has surrounded himself with yes men, washed up executives, and jaded negative admins. Extremely political environment that does not allow for contrary views. No leaders, just an executive team of lackeys and henchmen.

Hazelcast has an amazing company culture. It's a very positive and supportive place to work. They are very careful in hiring to ensure that the company can grow and stay that way. The company is growing fast so there's lots of room for innovators and people who want to use hard work to create their own future.

Cons

Best place I ever worked. Start up company life style isnt for everyone, but if you like it you will love Hazelcast.

Solid technology. Great customer base.

Cons

Leadership is on a huge power trip which has created a toxic work environment. CRO is not a leader. Revenue at any cost including extreme favoritism. A toxic 'bro culture' is promoted and rewarded. HR let's it happen. Co-CEO cannot be bothered to listen to Hazelcast’s largest customers. He barks orders with a lack of direction and accountability.
