Pros

Amazing coworkers, excellent healthcare, remote work

Cons

It feels like the company has fallen away from its vision in many ways, very money/metrics driven vs. patient experience. Upper leadership never seems to know what’s actually going on in the care side of things, it seems like a mistake to fill upper leadership roles with people who don’t have experience leading healthcare organizations. Benefits have been eroding over time to the point I was functionally making less in 2024 than I was in 2023. Members of the care team are incredible and driven but mid/upper leadership feels very out of touch and misaligned with the company’s supposed mission.

Pros

The coaching team is made up of incredibly kind, talented, and smart individuals who work hard to support members and each other. Learning and training opportunities are plentiful. Consistent feedback is provided and was helpful to grow as a coach.

Cons

Things shifted dramatically downhill when leadership changed. The care team that was once assured that they would be prioritized is now clearly expendable, and profit seems to be the sole priority at this point. It would be fantastic if the company were led by someone with mental healthcare (or even just healthcare) experience. Coaches are expected to provide excellent support for numerous members simultaneously, some of whom are high-acuity. Morale is plummeting, coaches are suffering, but it seems to be of no concern to the executives. It's disappointing to see such a decline in the quality of a company that felt like a unicorn in mental healthcare when I started. I trusted my instincts and left when the care team was no longer valued, and I see that I made the right choice. Pay was never stellar, but at least the benefits helped make up for that. Now, the benefits are vanishing.

Pros

It was great when it started out as Ginger. Amazing & talented coworkers and managers who really care about the clients and supporting one another.

Cons

Lured in with free benefits, took them all away, multiple layoffs, talking to 4 clients every half hour like it’s fast food for mental health. Extreme lack of care from upper management and exec level. No concern for client care and it’s hard to watch the clients suffer because of it. I’d absolutely not recommend working here.
