Amazing company...Glassdoor doesn't do it justice.

Pros

I almost didn't interview with Headspace because of some of the Glassdoor reviews. If I had followed through, I would have missed out on working for an amazing company. Headspace is known globally...but it's a start up. Remember that. It has gone from 50 to 200 employees rather quickly, so there have been & will continue to be growing pains. All I can say is that from what I've experienced, it's a company that is true to its mission: Improve the Health & Happiness of the World. If that sounds cheesy, this probably isn't the place for you because everyone is on board. This is a fantastic company with very talented people. If you're interested in an open position, don't let this site deter you from applying.

Cons

I don't necessarily think you need to have prior experience using Headspace to work here...but let's be real, this is a very purpose-driven company. You should probably download the app & try meditation before you apply.

Fast growing and fast changing

Pros

This is a fast-growing company in the health and wellness category which has been growing very quickly. Mindfulness has got a lot of interest recently and Headspace has been right there to ride that wave. Lots of talented, smart and hard working people. Incredible executive bench strength from leading companies. Awesome mission to "improve the health and happiness of the world", good mindfulness practices at work. Great brand that is reinforced every time you tell people where you work and get enthusiastic responses.

Cons

Lots of change - the company has grown from 50 to 200 in about two years. Projects are started, changed and killed. This is a fast-growing company, so this isn't unique. More seasoned management has been added that should help with this. The only constant is change.
