Pros

Quick hiring process. Benefits, 4 month probation with paid training. Patients really benefit from this line of work.

Cons

Horrible management and no room for growth. Many hospitals may be closing contracts due to affordable care act. Would have stayed longer if higher pay.

Pros

-Health insurance -there's nothing really much to add for pros. I heard that this company used to be very good years ago. It was one of the best places to work in 2008.

Cons

-high stress environment -very high micromangement: you cannot eat at your desks -hard to interact with coworkers: you're too busy to speak with anyone..it's not becauss coworkers don't want to talk, they CAN'T get a chance to, period. -unrealistic expectations: you have to deal with 100+ people a day by yourself -high stress: The job has run me down so hard that I am currently on antidepressants. As I'm writing this, I am contemplating suicide..I feel like a failure. My coworkers tell me that what Health Advocates expects of us is unrealistic and harsh, but I just can't help it. I work my best and have been known to excel at my previous jobs. I can't tell if I'm being stupid or if my coworkers are right. I don't know what to think. I have no interest in doing my hobbies, I can no longer sleep.

Pros

6 week training course. The work is easy

Cons

This job consists of a whole bunch of cliques. If they don't like you, they will fire you for any reason they come up with at all. High employee turnover. I've seen a lot of people come and go in the 7 months I was there. The place is like a factory, no windows and everyone sit facing the same way, looking at the wall. Everyone takes breaks and lunches at the same time as a form of CONTROL. It's creepy because they keep cameras on you while you work and it is very intimidating.
