This company is the real deal!

Pros

They treat team members like family. They put employees at the center of their flywheel

Cons

A key phrase that is used is “administrative burden” and steps that are being taken to eliminate it. For those of us who fall into that category, it feels like we have to constantly watch our backs for the knife that will eliminate our jobs.

Great Place to Work!

Pros

Health Catalyst is a great place to work! Senior Leadership is very engaged with the employees and I believe they really try to make this a wonderful company to work for. They are always open to suggestions and feedback from the employees.

Cons

I was very disappointed when in July of 2020 all the 401K company match was done away with. I really wish there were other options that could have been explored and at least maybe cutting the employer match by only half. On the upside though as of November 2020 the 401K match will be re-instated at half of its original amount.

Thank you for your review and for your feedback generally as well as specific to the 401(k) match benefit. While we were grateful to be in a position, financially, to reinstate the match at the 3% level a little sooner than we had anticipated, we also acknowledge that this is not a full reinstatement, and as we've discussed in our all team member meetings, while we plan to increase the match further in the future, it will not likely be back to the same level, based on our benchmarking research. I recognize that this is net-negative news for team members, but appreciate our team members' willingness to listen to the rationale and the process by which we came to this decision, and then to keep moving forward together. Great place to work

Pros

I have never worked at a company where leadership has been more transparent. In the company wide meetings there is discussion about things that I used to think would only be discussed at the C level. I truly feel that the company cares about me as a person, not just as an employee.

Cons

Communication could be better between departments. There are times where multiple departments have been working on similar initiatives and communicating/collaborating could have been beneficial. I don't think that it is worse at HC than it is at other companies but it could still be better.
