Pros

Colleagues are great and are very smart.

Cons

Leaders/managers are inexperienced and toxic. They curse and yell at employees. They make unrealistic demands and micromanage. There are better places to work than this dump!

Thank you for the feedback - sorry you had a negative experience at HealthEdge. Our managers have training and opportunities to learn and grow into their roles, but certainly cursing and yelling is not permissible. We hope you spoke with your local HR team about these issues.

Pros

Putting on a facade and great at it. Exceedingly strong in doing the wrong things with consistency. There is a library plus free coffee

Cons

No matter what's promised - to employees, customers, etc - the commitments are untrue. Can't stand watching commitments made to customers we have no interest in delivering. Customers and staff generally considered stupid by management team who no healthcare experience but reads lots of books. CEO wants to buy a culture but can't. Promotes agile/DevOps culture but literally has no idea how to execute change. Despite tremendous investment, the HR team is still comedic gold. Never seen any single function of any company ever be so dramatically lost and confused. The people strategy is to literally fire or drive out as many people as possible to send a message of intimidation and fear. If you're a customer - mind you, HealthEdge brings on customers it knows can't handle. Won't say it to your face, but it's known internally. Comes up at staff meetings and is openly discussed; no penalties for missing deadlines. Time and time again, great at promises, can't and won't deliver. Also, no raises as management normalizes salary. Going to keep going too.

Pros

Some great people interesting rules engine They are eager for java programmers

Cons

Very tense atmosphere. Women have different work but men get promoted. I am filling with MCAD. Not a place for women. Product has only been in production 1 1/2 years and many bugs are popping up. They do not seem to value industry knowledge. It is engineering driven, build first, spec later.
