Pros

The benefits package is great, and there are some really great teammates at HealthEquity that have been there for a while, and some new great teammates that have joined recently as well. Technology is also improving, which will really help simplify our products and their functionality for user experience.

Cons

Through all the recent acquisitions the company has undergone a lot of staff changes in the last few years, and with that there has been a lot of unsettling feelings of stability in the workplace. The majority of salary rates within the company tend to be under industry average levels, and I feel HealthEquity could offer more robust compensation packages.

I’ve worked with a lot of amazing, passionate people at this job. Mentoring skip level employees is encouraged and if you are an hard worker who takes initiative you can move up the ranks with or without a degree.

Cons

HealthEquity works on a performance based annual raise system. Raises are only available when changing positions or during the annual review period, and even the merit increases are seldom close to COL increases.

Great benefits, pay is decent, overall culture is positive and friendly, even in the remote setting.

Cons

There is an extreme lack of training and reliable information. It is very hard to find basic solid information about products and procedures. Managers tell you to ask your peers, so information isn't always correct. It stresses me out since my job is to provide information to the clients. I talked to my manager about how I don't want to give wrong information to clients, manager said it didn't matter, which doesn't give me much assurance for the overall commitment to quality. Also, as a client consultant, I am " "scored" on how I answer clients and get docked for wrong answers.. feels like a no win situation.
