      Pros

      Smart creative conversational sales with technical products requirements of having special state licenses to even talk about it sale. Intimidating on first call after that it’s just a matter of helping people out. You have to know your facts though because your job is very critical to people from a vulnerable population healthcare needs and prescriptions.

      Cons

      You will be reprimanded if you mess around with peoples healthcare. This job is not for the weak or scattered. You must know your facts. You will be dealing with important things on the phone with people. You must know what your talking about. There are consequences if you don’t both on a moral level as well as a financial level. You also must not mind sitting fir long stretches of time while inside a cubicle box.

      Good place to start Insurance Brokerage, rather cold leads, training does not provide effective sales training.

      Free leads, good base pay, good benefits, opportunity to grow, good autonomy (work from home).

      Cons

      Ineffective training. No effective script given, nor any script at all. No opportunity to shadow high-performing salespeople. You have to figure out an effective sales script yourself. Most inbound and outbound calls are people who are not originally looking for a Medicare broker's support
