None that I could see.

Cons

Next to no training, long hours (I would go months at a time without time off), unrealistic expectations from upper management, and ridiculously low pay for the amount of work. They hire you at a low rate of pay under the pretense that you'll make more money when you get promoted, then they fail to develop you as a manager. Then, when promotion time comes around, they pass you over because you haven't been developed enough.

I did get to do things how I wanted for the most part.

When it came down to taking stock of the offer; I was offered an Account Manager position at a pay point that was better than my job at the time, once I handed in my notice at the company, they came back saying that they could only offer me roughly $2 more per hour than what I was leaving compared to the $10 more per hour I was told. 2. I was going to work 4x 10 hour days, I started and the 2nd day was told I was going to work 4x14 hour days and a 10 hour day. 3. The benefits I left at the previous company were better priced, HCSG was going to take 1/2 my bi weekly paychecks too cover me and my small family, as compared to the previous company that took 1/4 bi weekly.

Enjoying working for HCSG

Pros

As a dietitian working in a LTC facility, my hours are very flexible. In addition, I feel very supported by my lead dietitian and regional dietitian.

Cons

Honestly the only issues I have it the cost of health insurance that is offered by HCSG. However, they did add additional options for dietitian but it is still not affordable (for a family of 5). I think this is with most companies right now though.
