Can be very good. Great resume builder, You will learn how to be a manager or you will fail.
Pros
Flexible hours. You have no direct boss working with at your location. You only see your boss a few times month. You work according to your own schedule, at your own pace. Its a chance to gain a lot of management experience if you haven't had it before, because you will do EVERYTHING. HR, Sales, Accounting, Managing. You hire and fire your own crew. Train them yourself. Motivate them, You decide how to spend your budgets. You do the client interactions and work to keep them happy. If you can succeed at this, you can run anything. If you can do it, there is a possibility of rapid advancement, but only if you are under 35, white and male. (Its a frat house mentality, no old guys, minorities or chicks) If you can do your job right, hire, train and motivate a good staff, your life is very easy. I've been with them 4 years and made my situation work for me. I seldom work more than 7 hours a day, seldom work weekends. If I need to run out for an errand during the day, I can usually be gone without anyone noticing or caring.
Cons
The upper management is terrible. They will only put obstacles in your way and not lift a finger to help you. They promote like they're running a fraternity, not a business. They don't understand that a business should INVEST in its people. This company doesn't spend a nickle in training. You a responsible for everything 24/7, but that's the life of any manager. They SAY they have a training program, but most managers are thrown into a mess of a building after just a week or 2 of training. Its sink or swim. Most fail. Managers are set-up for failure. Upper management will blame everything but themselves. They don't want their frat party to end. There IS a gross-out factor to the job. Laundry is feces stained, You have to clean a few blown-up toilets,
