Pros

Decent salaries and benefits. The employees are generally smart and easy to get along with. The work can be challenging.

Cons

New COO is not in touch with the existing culture. Frequent disruptive changes including layoffs of numerous key employees and constant "realignments" of managers and teams have had a negative impact on morale and work output.

Pros

The only pro for working here is the people. The Tempe CSC team is dwindling, week by week, but the reps who have stayed are some of the best people to work with. Everyone gets along and has fun coming in to work to see each other. Note:This excludes the two managers and the supervisor.

Cons

"Tampa's best place to work"-I highly doubt it. Speaking to any other department, you can hear the disappointment, the anger, the sadness in their voices. Management on all levels seem to be completely lost on what their employees are doing or even what their employees do at all. Nobody wants to take responsibility when things go wrong. Finger pointing seems to be the one true way to get promoted. Managers have only gotten their jobs by blaming every one of their peers when things don’t go right. One of my favorite things that happened this year was the video of the "town hall" meeting. For 3 hours the company managers waxed poetic about how great their departments (themselves) were and then proceeded to give out awards...to the other managers. This town hall meeting was absolutely sickening and appauling. Do you have an idea on how to improve a problem or concern? Do you have any concerns about the processes in the workplace? If you do...you better keep that information to yourself as you might find yourself giving that idea or concern to the unemployment line. Don’t get along with your manager? Your career is doomed, it’s best to leave ASAP. These facts are even more apparent being from an outside branch of the company. The Tempe location has the best support reps. Dedicated and hardworking, the reps here excel in every challenge given. It is sad to say, but the reps here end up cleaning up the messes the reps in Tampa make, even though they supposedly do the same job as us. But hey, I can’t complain! According to one of the execubots, "the two call centers are one cohesive team with no differences in procedures." people have been fired for telling him differently, even though anyone who pays attention longer than 5 minutes can tell that there is something really wrong. And as other people have said, communication is near nonexistent. New laws pass in individual states about medication months before any changes happen and even then, these changes only help the company do the bare minimum to avoid penalties from the law.

Pros

Interesting projects, and smart people

Cons

Instability; company constantly tries to reinvent itself, never nails down or divulges the details, rarely follows through. Despite the attempts at reorganization, the company is still a bunch of silos. Don't expect to work on the interesting projects unless you know the right people; otherwise, your life will be scut work.
