Pros

people are very friendly and good at what they do, there is some want to change from a publisher to a digital house. working in publishing is always fun

Cons

marketeers that think they know best coming out of grad school/university can override experts in the field - wasting time and money

Pros

WESH 2 News is one of the news leaders in a Top 20 market. They are some of the best in the business of local news and the internship program is extremely helpful if you are hoping to start a career in news. There are hands-on opportunities to help in the news gathering process and interns are expected to do just that.

Cons

This is not really a con, but opportunities to help are typically not just handed to interns--they are there, but you really have to be a self-starter and reach out for them yourself.
