Dedicated to company longevity. Dedicate to real journalism in news coverage. Protection of benefits and pensions (for those who were eligible at time of hire).

Pros

Very exciting company with something always happening. You will never be bored. Beautiful building in NYC, makes it easier to enjoy coming to work!

Cons

seem to want more and more work from existing employees while constantly reducing staff. no support of work/life balance...it's all work, work, work

Pros

Good cafeteria, the opportunity to work in the cutting edge of journalism and publishing, relative prestige compared with publishing houses.

Cons

Some of the senior management can be stuck in their ways, lunch around the area tends to be expensive, not as a big as Conde Nast.
