Pros
Engineers in training were provided with plenty of travel and training to begin leaning the business. Many employees at each plant are great people to work with. Bonuses were pretty good.
Cons
You can easily make $10-30k more for the same job title just by switching to a different company. Aetna plans provided are legitimate garbage coverage. The new blue cross they are swapping to is still a bunch of high deductible plans that are cheaper for the company’s bottom line. This company will pinch a penny and then waste a dollar. Maintenance and projects that needed to get happen would be put off forever until something broke and then they “magically” found 3 times more money to pay for the emergency that proper maintenance could have prevented. One plant is being run by the HR/Safety Manager, not the Plant Manager.
