Pros

The company keeps growing. Benefits are reasonable but no longer the best in the area.

Cons

The entire leadership team is filling with white men yet they make us taking training on DEI. The few minorities in leadership they forced out by working them harder than anyone else. They have no compassion for people who they don’t like.HR is the worst. The Chicago people are rude and disgusting. They allow women to be sexually harassed and just sweep in under the rug. They screw people who stand up to them. Not worth the money at all. There is 0 Work life balance. They say it is there but then overload certain people and say it’s your fault for no time management. Bull they just don’t hold everyone to the same standard. Stay away. Engineers find somewhere else or you will Be making parts on the production floor.

Pros

Good pay for the area and job security

Cons

Management, no home life, no structure, changing expectations, lack of training, bad morale. The pay is good but not in exchange of the mental stress of the work. Huge disconnects between upper management and departments. No structured training. They are all about getting the job done and not about quality. Constant finger pointing from upper management and unprofessionalism.

Pros

Insurance, double time after 50, no weekends required

Cons

Promotions are given based on how much you suck up to those in the office. You can punch a fellow employee and then get a line lead spot 6 months later if you're a brown noser. I was told that certain employees don't have to keep the pace or rotate stations because of their age/race (ageism/racism). The company will brag to new hires that we don't work weekends while the plant manager is actually trying to make weekends mandatory. Management acts like they care about input from floor workers but they honestly couldn't care less.
