Pros

Great Co-Workers and customers. Wonderful benefits, 401k, paid holidays.

Cons

Upper Management, makes decisions that favor only them and not necessarily what its beneficial for the company. In return hurts the lower level employees. Not a good work life balance. Most locations are understaffed.

Pros

Sales and Management experience Decent bonuses (if you can sell) at Management Trainee and Management Associate levels Car & Cellphone at management level. Co-Workers

Cons

Car cleaners and drivers have all been let go (Boston area) so managers are expected to clean/ wash cars and pick up and drop off customers... No family person can do this job.. you are expected to be at branch an hour before open 7am, and stay until about an hour after close 7pm... plus work most Saturdays Pay is very low...$12.50 hours an hour for entry level... with a college degree needed At local edition branches, some days you will be expect to clean 30+ cars inside and out with 1 or 2 people working! Branches are always extremely understaffed to the point its a miracle everyday the branch runs. Awful customer service at times because you cant possibly keep up with all the tasks management gives you, (Example- Two Hertz employees are working at a branch for the day..At 9 o'clock, four customers need a ride to the office at the same time. Hertz website promises the ride service will be guaranteed and timely....customers get extremely upset and yell in your face but its impossible to pick up 4 people at the same time with 2 employees...) This kind of example can be used for many Hertz situations. The turn over is extremely high, Hertz treats its employees and customers both poorly because Hertz and Enterprise have a duel monopoly of the industry and they both know they can get away with whatever they please. Only apply to Hertz as a last resort.

Cons

Management is stupefied most of time due to low staffing and high standards of maximaztion towards sells.Skeleton crews,Quick turnaround rate of employees,Hertz doesn't value they're employees,Breaks aren't giving at the proper fashion,Company thinks they're innovative but is behind the curb by many years of the competition.
