Pros

Get to drive cars you can't afford cause all the rentals are brand new 2 years or newer like Fords, Mercedes, Toyotas, etc. Pick people up from their hotels and resorts around places hidden away in town. Lots of overtime pay.

Cons

Low pay $12/hr, no pay increase from trainee even up to assistant manager all same. Regularly threatened w/written warnings of termination if don't meet insurance sales quotas. 6 days a week, 50+ hours per week little free time. Management always takes customer side of any dispute, but still expects employees to uphold policies customers dispute.

Pros

Managers get car priviledges from day one.

Cons

No scheduled lunches, 10 hour work days expected. Expected to have Blackberry and email access 24/7 and while on vacation. Continued layoffs since 2006. Unrealistic "uncapped bonus" potential, where large percentage of area management does not even receive a bonus at all. Poor training for new employees, not much support. I had close contact with numerous locations at all levels of management, theme is work in fear and need. Not like or desire.

Pros

That which does not kill you makes you stronger. WIll prepare you for whatever career you pursue after this.

Cons

Long hours (12+ hour days) with little to no support. Company relies on a long training method to make you eligible for promotion, yet never provides any time to complete said training. Impossible to achieve goals. Management frequently threatens to terminate your employment if those impossible goals aren't met. Entire infrastructure is behind the times and outdated. Once went 2 months without drinking water because management failed to maintain adequate finances.
