Pros

Many of the people are truly wonderful...but everyone ends up leaving because of the toxic culture

Cons

For a company that claims to be all about culture, the work environment is comically bad. They claim to support flexibility but provide absolutely no leeway. They force an in-office culture despite claiming to believe that "the world of work has changed" and "remote work is the future" (their own words). Sales quotas are unattainable and they constantly lie to employees, claiming "no layoffs!" right before laying off a quarter of the the team with no warning. They dangle promotions above people's heads and then claim that there was never any planned path to promotion. There is no strategy, they throw things at the wall and see what sticks, and when it doesn't they blame the employees. They can't keep employees and it's a revolving door. And HR and management are not there to support you. You have no one but your own team who are suffering alongside you.

Thank you for your review. We really do have an amazing group of people at Hibob. We take all your concerns seriously and we want to let you know what we are doing to combat them. Hibob is committed to providing a flexible work environment for all. All of our sites operate a hybrid model in working. We consulted with our bobbers and found that having some in person time with each other is essential for connection and creativity, whilst keeping all the many positives of remote working. We are investing in our offices as we see a huge benefit in human interaction, and we know how important the sense of belonging to each one of us as humans. We have also introduced our global ‘work from anywhere policy’ which allows bobbers to work anywhere in the world for 2 months of the year. We recently lowered quotas in the Americas in response to feedback from sales leadership and in consideration of current market conditions. We’re also very transparent with sales teams about how their performance is measured so that decisions can be made on an objective basis. We are constantly aiaming to improve our product and adapt to changing markets, which is something that is a big focus for us in 2023 as we grow through the current economic headwinds. We are also committed to all bobbers being able to grow a career at Hibob and we want to give everyone the opportunity to grow in whichever direction they want to. We recognise that as a growing business we don’t always get this right. But we have introduced out ‘HiGrowth’ review process with the emphasis being on how we can get you to where you want to be. Our people team and managers are there to support all bobbers in the strictest confidence. It concerns us that you feel this isn’t the case.

Pros

- Onboarding was made seamless with the help of our platform, bob. I was customer-facing in less than a week. - Management has been fantastic - The cross-functional team in NYC has been very insightful - The product is intuitive, so there is not a long ramping period needed

Cons

- Like all small to medium sized companies, some processes are still being defined. With that said, that is part of the appeal of working at a company like HiBob.

Pros

I love that HiBob is changing the face of HR and putting people at the heart of what is traditionally a process-led function. There are some great teams at HiBob and a real desire to perform. The marketing and brand team are producing great work, the customer success teams are driving improvements and overall everyone really cares about what they are doing.

Cons

Growing pains and they are at the cusp of moving into a global company so they need to address some of the challenges this brings. There is a tendency to resort to the Tel Aviv way of doing things which is more agile and entrepreneurial.
