      Fast paced, challenging, but never dull!

      Pros

      Hibob offers the best things about working in a start-up: it's fast paced, there's always a great challenge to get stuck into, and there's opportunity to get involved in anything and everything, you just have to look! The people are hard-working, supportive and smart - which makes it not just a stimulating working environment but also a great place to make some really amazing friends and working connections.

      Cons

      There are growing pains which many businesses have as they scale up - still a lot of undefined processes, need for better HR strategy and engagement...but the good things is, Hibob does recognise these gaps and is working to invest and improve in filling them. The workload can sometimes be heavy, but Hibob are growing headcount to help reduce this.

      Startup life isn’t for everyone, but it can be incredibly rewarding in terms of development, professional experience, exposure, impact - I am pleased to know you are enjoying it and taking advantage of the unique opportunities to get involved. And we are all working hard every day to develop the process, structure and programs that will help us run in a smarter, smoother way. Thanks for being a part of it. I know the work-life balance is a challenge for us all, especially during this period of remote work. Hopefully you are taking the suggestions we discuss about breaks, shutting off, and taking time off - as well as participating in the social activities, pilates, more we schedule to keep things light. We are fully committed to helping us all keep our sanity and the right balance. :)

      Great company and next-gen product!

      Pros

      Energetic and vibrant culture. Many of the employees are young and like-minded people making the work-life balance great Transparency from senior management on the companies goals which helps align everyone to work towards a common objective Great benefits (random gifts delivered to everyone during lockdown) Employees get share options which drives personal investment into Hibob Commission package

      Cons

      Communication could be better across the three sites (Tel-Aviv, London & NYC) Since starting, there have been some questionable new hires

      Thanks for sharing your experience. Much has changed since you joined a year ago - but yet we still have more work to do. I am glad that the transparency we commit to is felt. And I am also glad you find the benefits to be strong - including perks such as company options. We are all in this together and are proud to have our employees as key stakeholders in the business. Your comments on hiring are noted - thank you for raising it. I commit to improvement in this area, starting already with several news programs being led by our new CHRO. These actions will surely help us ensure we are hiring the right people and providing the effective support they need at onboarding to be successful.

      Pros

      Hibob is a great company to work for. The team is amazing, you are rewarded for your hard work and there is room to grow. I joined the UK team back in 2016 and left as another great opportunity fell into my lap, but when the opportunity to re-join came along, I didn't think twice. Love working here!

      Cons

      Like all startups, we have a few kinks to workout, but if you work hard and are a team player there is no reason why you wouldn't be successful here.

      Thanks for your feedback. We are working hard to create an environment where high performers can grow with the company and as a result we see quite a bit of internal mobility between regions and functions.
