Pros

One of the main reasons I decided to accept a position with hibu over 14 years ago is because of the culture and the ability to have fun while working! hibu is like a second family and I plan on being here for the rest of my career . hibu is a forward thinking company putting our clients and sales reps first.

Cons

I've learned over the years to really screen my potential new clients prior to agreeing to work with them. Sometimes I don't always made the best judgement call. I am able to help businesses improve their marketing and leads coming to their business but not their personal problems. It's difficult working with an unhappy person.

Pros

None. Sadly, I’m not kidding.

Cons

This is a corporate cult. Having an opinion different from the corporate agenda and propaganda they keep regurgitating on you repeatedly is looked down upon to say the least. Extreme extreme extreme micromanaging even though you are working remote. They only pay you for 40 hours but they try to mandate you to work after 5:00 without pay. They call it the 5 after 5. They put you through a three week long training which is basically like a military style psychological boot camp where they try to mentally and physically break you down so you conform to their requirements without questing anything because you’re afraid of being chastised. It’s like being one of Pavlov’s dogs. Extremely high turnover. 6 months is a long time to work at this place. Most people don’t make it three months.

If you have the ability to follow our prescriptive sales cadence and work in a collaborative sales environment and have an entrepreneurial spirit we know that you can reap the rewards here at Hibu. We are also proud of the results our products have generated for our customers which has resulted in Hibu having one of the highest customer retention rates in the space. Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Pay is ALWAYS CHANGING

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Remote offices, Make your own schedule part of the day and several days a week. 1 day of the week is only cold calling for the entire day at least 100 activities. Health Savings Account

Cons

Constant micro-managing, changing of pay without any help to determine the issues. They are constantly changing the requirements and you are making less at times than other areas but required to do more than those areas. The quotas are equal for small towns and big states like NY. You have to work a lot harder and longer to make up the same quota that is expected of a state like NY & NJ when you live in a small outer state. Unfair balance of expectations, pay and quotas. Benefits are very expensive for such a large company.
