We’re so glad to hear your experience reflected the values we work hard to uphold. Higginbotham has always been a people-first organization, and it’s meaningful to know that came through during your time here. Thank you.

Pros

Something to put on your resume. Hybrid was offered but I’m sure that’s being phased out so managers can watch your every move

Cons

This company does not value creatives. Micromanagers and just straight up mean people in management who will talk down to you, over work you and then ask why you are stressed because you aren’t doing enough anyway. Unrealistic expectations and old school Fear mongering management style. Literal tears were shed and no sympathy was given. Work here if you want to be overworked, under appreciated and underpaid with no growth opportunities. This place is a revolving door of creatives, and for a good reason. You will be given more and more work but still told you are not doing enough. Stay away from this place and find somewhere that values creatives and work life balance and has management that isn’t stuck in the old school “live to work” attitude.

Poor leadership and nepotism overshadow the good people

Pros

There are good people who genuinely care about their work, and the hybrid schedule offers flexibility.

Cons

Compensation is below market, career advancement is limited, and workloads can be inconsistent. The company’s “family to employees” value feels literal. It’s run like a family business with the CEO hiring relatives and family friends for roles they aren’t qualified for. I appreciated my team, but when concerns were raised, leadership was dismissive and responded with, “Welcome to Higginbotham.” The organization’s rapid growth has also weakened its sense of community.
