Pros

I was a patient and also spent time training at 2 of their locations and had a great experience with friendly, caring, and helpful staff.

Cons

However the location I ended up working in was a disorganized mess with a high turn over rate and having centralized scheduling, billing, and authorization that was not always easy to figure out details for patients as they were not easily available to communicate with so that made the work harder, same with patients being confused as to which of the locations they were calling or going to.

Pros

I've been with Highbar Physical Therapy for over 11 years and can confidently say that this company is exceptional in every way. Starting from a smaller team, I’ve had the pleasure of watching Highbar evolve, expand, and consistently stay ahead in the physical therapy field. I'm grateful to work in an environment where innovation and growth are not only encouraged but are part of the company culture. One of the most impressive aspects of Highbar is its commitment to professional development. The company genuinely invests in its team, offering frequent training and educational opportunities that keep us up-to-date on the latest practices and trends in healthcare. The culture here is inclusive, supportive, and focused on teamwork—it's a place where you feel valued, respected, and motivated to excel every day. Highbar’s growth also means opportunities for career advancement. Whether you're just starting your career or have been in the industry for years, there’s room to advance, learn, and lead. The company has expanded significantly in recent years, which speaks to both our excellent patient care and our management's vision. The positive, collaborative atmosphere makes coming to work fulfilling, and being a part of this incredible team is a privilege.

Cons

With growth comes a fast-paced environment, and at times, this can mean managing a high volume of work or adapting quickly to new initiatives. This can be challenging for those who prefer a slower pace or more routine tasks. Additionally, as Highbar continues expanding, communication across different clinics and departments can occasionally feel like a challenge, though efforts are always underway to improve this. While the company provides many opportunities for advancement, it also expects a high level of commitment and drive, which may not be for everyone.
