Salaries are lower than market. Lot of politics and senior leadership will prevent you from growing. They don’t care about the people that work at the property.

Upper management is very selfish. GM are encouraged to take weekends off and they refuse to help with coverage even in times of desperation. They high AGM with very little knowledge for the franchise and that tend to be just as lazy. Sales team, GM, and AGM tend to sit in their shared office all day everyday so the hourly sales manager logs 6-7 hours of OT every week yet they force HK, maintenance and guest services to cut their overtime which means things that keep the hotel functional get put off cause people get sent home
