Pros

Leadership is amazing and understanding, Communication is great. Training is awesome, I met the CEO, Steve, at the corporate office while I was at training. He was the kindest and most down to earth guy! You can tell he loves what he does and doesn't portray that is more important than you. The culture at Highmark is incomparable. It is so nice to be able to come to work and know you will have a team that will support you!

Cons

You don't automatically have a paid day off for your birthday. There are Personal Days you can use (amazing) but, having this be an automatic, "You're off to Celebrate you" would make there be no cons. Lol.

A Family Atmosphere In A Large Company

In the five years I've been with Highmark, I've never felt like just a number. Many larger property management companies treat their maintenance staff as an afterthought, but here I've always felt a valued and seen member of the team! Highmark is always striving to improve the property management experience for both residents and employees, and I'm proud to be part of that process. Career advancement opportunities are plentiful within the company, for both the site and corporate levels.

Cons

The pay structure does seem a bit low for the industry average, despite the good benefits package, and doesn't appear to take local COL into account.
