Used to be good, but now awful and bleeding Talent Left & Right
Pros
401k match is decent. Staff outside of management roles are generally good people.
Cons
This used to be a good place to work, however, in the last few years there has been a significant change in guard in a significant chunk of the management and it has largely NOT been for the better. Inadequate training in many departments, some trainers will just sit there and read the training materials AT you, Some will just tell you outdated or outright incorrect information. When management is told the training is inadequate they do essentially nothing. Do you enjoy workplace politics? There's an endless supply here and especially so if you move beyond grunt level work. Blatant nepotism, the number of times you see this mentioned in other reviews is telling. Some managers and directors are wildly delusional and disconnected from reality. Some do not understand basic industry concepts despite their alleged many years of experience and make inexplicably bad decisions. Some take forever to make basic decisions or sign off on things that would and should be EASY decisions for anyone who is actually competent for the role. Some talk crap about their OWN staff in closed-door meetings. Some will ACTIVELY try to make you feel disposable, even when you know you are not. Some only believe the data when it benefits them. Their data governance team is a wasteful costly ineffective joke, they have it just to say they have it at a purely lip service level. Some of these bad apples have been promoted even higher in the organization where they'll make even more catastrophic decisions going forward. Purely political animals. People in their OWN compliance department don't think this org will last another 10 years. Pay is not competitive, they WILL try to lowball you. Turnover is high for a reason. The amount of times I've seen people in various roles catch on to the writing on the wall and nope out within 1-3 months is absurd. Several people in multiple departments who have been key to the ship running smoothly have left in the last year or two because of the above, meaningful transition planning was practically non-existent. The ship is sinking without any true signs of course correction. Stay far away.
