Pros

Working for a reputable international brand who have a positive and supportive management. Get to work with a diverse group of colleagues and customers. Offers a good work life balance with plenty of time off to enjoy the local heritage and culture and sites.

Cons

It can become uncomfortable working on the terrace in the peak of the summer heat.

Pros

- great team spirit! Feels like a big family - excellent travel program with very low team member rates - first name policy & low hierarchies - many team member events (e.g. Kick-Off Team Member Party, sport events etc.) - nice team member restaurant - great offers regarding health (eyesight tests, stress management training etc. in the hotel) - diversity of employees - many ways of recognition

Cons

If you would like to boost your career you need to be very flexible regarding the work locations, transferring to hotels in the US, Canada and UK from Europe is not always as easy as many team members wish and if you would like to stay in your country there might not be a suitable position.

Pros

Often new challenges, never boring. It's nice to work in a big department as you meet plenty of people. Also, cheap Hilton rooms.

Cons

Can be ridiculously late finishes (5am occasionally). Contracts offer little security. Very much fits into the culture of hospitality where employees are disposable.
