      Pros

      Hitachi Solutions has so many brilliant people that work there. The entire environment is friendly and laid back, while never missing a beat when it comes to working. Management makes constant efforts to ensure their employees maintain this feeling of "togetherness".

      Cons

      As a consultant I had to travel a lot. It made me miss my family and being home, but I guess that type of travel comes with a consulting position in any company.

      A different kind of company

      Pros

      The overall culture of the company was unlike any I had ever seen. While everyone worked to their fullest potential, they were also very laid back. The company was more of a team and everyone was close with one another. There were birthday luncheons every month and during the holidays we would have inner company contests. The global distance between regions did not seem that far due to this family like culture.

      Cons

      To be completely honest, I did not have that many complaints during my time with the company. At least nothing even worth mentioning. If I was not a retiree I would still be working there.
