Solid company to work for (CRM practice)
Pros
Work from home. Very competent team. Very good growth potential. Management legitimately seems to care about employees as much as being profitable. Good pay. Good benefits. Unlimited PTO within reason. We produce excellent work that is easy to be proud of. 401k match up to 6%. Laptops get replaced after about 2 years. Up to date on technology and software. Encourage continued growth.
Cons
Some projects can be very demanding time, but that's the same at most consulting firms. HR is laughably bad sometimes with administrative stuff. Nothing scary, but communications from the top guy feel like they were written by a 10th grader. Review process is very outdated and pretty garbagy, but I am not aware of serious negative impacts on anyone and an overhaul is coming. Due to a recent acquisition of a company based in the south and much of that company's leadership retaining top positions, I have seen signs of trending towards conservative values which is a concern for me. I am aware of one other case in addition to an experience of my own where leadership attempted to influence something they have no business influencing. Both cases were very maddening in principal, but not bad enough to make me want to leave.
