Pros

Good pay. You go home for your 34 every week except for on holidays .

Cons

Day one they tell you how they operate within the "teachings of their bible", the bible must have changed into a guide on how to make all of the money in the world because that's all that matters to them. Drivers have no control over their own safety, if you got to drive for hours in a blizzard to make your delivery that is what they expect of you. I was told that in orientation. If someone fails to do their job for some reason and dispatch decides to put that on you, you better not refuse or they threaten to fire you. When they have an issue with you or you ask a question they don't like they knee jerk and send emails to every manager in the company so they all have to call and reprimand you. You're supposed to get 2 days off a week, that is a weekend, you only get your 34 hour reset and not even that when the profit is more important. I can go on and on but I will end it here. You are just the tool they need to drive the truck, your personal issues don't matter one bit to them.

Pros

I like my job. Our store is less stesful now than it has ever been.We always have plenty of work to do.

Cons

Hobby Lobby changed our health insurance company this year. A family of 4 has to be out $2500 for deductable,$5700 to meet the 20% after deductable up to$8200. Then the company pays the rest. My premiums are just under $5000 a year. I don't know how much Hobby Lobby pays for their part of the premium. Our health care is high because of certain problems my family has. Our daughter was just diagnosed with cancer so I am thankful and greatful that Hobby Lobby offers insurance. I just know that Cigna insurance is far worse than the insurances we have ever had through Hobby Lobby and I have worked for them over 10 years.
