Pros

One of the best things about this company is their flexibility in working around my college schedule.

Cons

Were very inconsiderate when time was needed off for family emergencies, or sick leave. The managers are over worked and take it out on the employees. There are little to no leadership opportunities, chances for promotion or personal growth.

Good pay but overly conservative in all policies.

Pros

Good pay. Hours are ok. Most co workers are nice and helpful. Great merchandise. No sales quotas. Closed on Sundays.

Cons

Must cover tattoos. Stays up to 2 hours after closing time straightening the store. Too conservative in dress code and ideology to be a creative craft and art store. Could be more of a fun place to work if company policy wasn't so uptight. Discount is only 15%. A lot of customers are not friendly. Manager gets on everyone's nerves. Only a 30 min lunch for a 9+ hour shift. If you are stuck on a register you may not get your 15 minute break. Registers do not scan product.

Pros

If you're able to go FT the pay is great, you don't have to work major holidays, the store closes early and is closed on Sundays, you learn about a lot of crafts and hobbies.

Cons

PT workers don't get very many hours once the holiday season is over and management seems to play favoritism in that manner, seasonal workers aren't included in the holiday bonuses, cashiers have to deal with being micromanaged during every process at the register, especially the return lines ( you literally have to have a CSM by your side from the beginning to the end of every return/exchange and it really slows the process down, not to mention all of the impatient customers just waiting to be helped), you have to enter every item manually, you can't item void and your cancel transactions are monitored (it's almost impossible to ever not do either of the two because customers are always changing their minds or simply don't have enough funds), customers are constantly trying to get additional discounts on top of the everyday low prices and they do, because it's that easy, it is very difficult to go from PT to FT.
