Pros

The clinic and some people

Cons

This is a toxic hostile work environment. They don't care about you, the community is fake, everyone is fake bc if you don't fake it, they let you go. Don't be an individual. Be MAGA. Don't have a voice, agree 100% with company politics and have a "Hobby Lobby is my passion" attitude. DO NOT LEAVE ANOTHER JOB FOR THIS ONE.

Pros

• Most of the people you work with are nice. • Most teams work on interesting projects! • The office area is nice, considering the building is inside of a warehouse. Be prepared to hear lots of beeping and forklift sounds!

Cons

• Some teams are better than others. Mine was a fantastic team until we got a new lead. • Leadership tends to bully one person on the team in order to have documented coaching. There’s always one - pray it’s not you. • It is a revolving door for designers, and you will have the light in your soul sucked out if you work too hard. Don’t work hard enough? Documented coaching. • They only tend to hire brand new, fresh out of college designers, since they’re the ones who don’t know better. They spend a LOT of time and money going to colleges to recruit. • You are just a number to them, and they will not care if you’re unhappy. Prepare to feel very micromanaged on everything you do. • You will not have as much creative freedom as they let on in the beginning. Buyers/clients already know what they want, and you need to do exactly that. Creative people/those who love to illustrate will NOT succeed here.

Pros

High pay for retail associates Other associates could be enjoyable to work with Managers usually work well with scheduling, just put any requests in as early as possible Fun interacting with customers and helping them build their custom frame project

Cons

You will never work you 40 hours unless holiday and inventory season. Most the time will work 35 hours just to keep your benefits. If they could managers would probably work you 30 hours. If you are part time during the non holiday season look forward to 10-15 hours a week at most. During holiday hours you will only get around 25-27 hours. Managers don't communicate well, never send the right amount of people to help with projects which makes all projects late. Managers claims they want their backroom empty at all times but always lets inventory pile up. Making it impossible to work in the back. Most managers will always micro manage you and you are lucky to have one manager in your store not micro managing. Personally I would never work here again. But it was great making all the customers happy with their framing orders and seeing them emotionally react to the ones that meant so much to them.
