Pros

They pay pretty decent, and make generous 401k contributions.

Cons

As full time employee of 5 years, I can confidently say that this is the worst place I’ve ever worked. Their so called “Christian Values” are not something that’s reflected in the management or work environment. I’ve worked at multiple stores, and had the same experience at each on. Employees are mistreated, spoken to in a derogatory manner, and honest efforts are hard work are not appreciated. It’s also very difficult to work your way up in the company (even if you work diligently) they lend to hire outside the company for management positions.

Upper store leadership has zero compassion for anything that does not benefit her. There is no vision insurance.

Cons

Truck day is long and tiresome. Entire management staff seems stressed ALL the time. I've never felt comfortable having a conversation, asking questions - getting clarification on a tasks or voicing my concerns with anyone from the management team. Lots of micro managing instead of proper training, The expectation to work quickly and to complete all tasks in your department do not change no matter how much you stop to assist customers or are called to the register to cashier when busy. I always get the feeling that I am never working hard enough or that I am a disappointment to my manager no matter how long or hard I've worked. Rarely, if ever am told "thank you" or that "job well done." Feels like I am walking on egg shells constantly. Not a great atmosphere.
