Pros

Good people throughout, field team, office team. Good money Good benefits Good culture Online classes

Cons

After 6 years of being with Holder, the culture they talk about is not all there. A lot of the jobs that I have worked on were already behind when I walked onsite. At that point, it’s just get it done, sink or swim. Higher management comes in to help push things along, wanting to point out to everyone what should have happened, or questions like, why did we do it like this, why didn’t we do this etc?.... My question is where were you months ago, taking the time to walk with us or looking for potential issues that could arise later or close to the end of the job, show or share your experience to teach, No mentoring from anyone because everyone is so busy trying to catch up with the end date. If you ask for a day or two off for a family reason, depending on who it is, doesn’t happen unless it’s a loss of a family member, which at that, they will still call and ask when your coming back. My last job was 80+ hours a week out of town away from my family. They care about their selves and no one else unless you let them run over you. Do not expect a life if you work in the field for this company! Not sure about the office side.

Pros

Coworkers were good to work with. Made a lot of personal lifetime friends.

Cons

Long hours, weekends. No work life balance. company that grew too fast for its own good- after working here 5+ years it’s easy to see. Some big projects in the middle of nowhere and a few legacy projects but no long term stability if you care about having a life or future settling down somewhere. The job is for the vagabond with no family or home base unless you land a cushy corporate job in Atlanta. I was told the grass wasn’t greener on the other side, they were wrong, glad I left.

Pros

They have helped to balance my home and work life. We all work together as a team. One person does not try to out do the other, we are all equal. They take time out of their busy day to listen to what you have to say about any issues you have or see. They are all together family orienated company...great place to work .

Cons

I have not had any downfalls in my book yet.
