Cons

Nursing management overall (particularly the ER director and a few of the assistant managers) was extremely unprofessional, did not seek input from staff nurses, acted with hostility at times towards nurses, and did not support cohesive team environment. I would go to work nervous because of their behavior many days which is why I quit ultimately. Also- pay was extremely low compared to all other area hospitals.

Cons

Litigation fears that could destroy my job. I'm not even sure if the position still exists at HMC.

Pros

The nursing staff is great and they do their best with the staffing they have. Providers make it difficult to care for patients as they are no where to be found most days after being on the unit

Cons
