-CEO is unbelievably pompous and makes terrible decisions - CEO protects those who flatter him and dismisses concerns with regard to patient safety and well being if it means he has to discipline his favored employees - Management will throw you under a bus to save themselves from CEOs wrath - HR is complicit in all of the above
