I highlighted money in the pros section of this post because that is literally the only good thing about it. The pay is terrible. To make the good money you have to be willing to put your family and any other life interests aside for this job. I got hired through the indeed app. In that description it said starting pay was 10-11 an hour plus 10% commission. I worked there for about two months before I realised I was only making 9.50 AS A DRIVER. I brought this up to BOTH of my supervisors, and they both said they would take care of it. Two months later, I was still only at 9.50.. I asked again, and finally after three or four months of employment and asking, I got my wage corrected. I was told I would get a reimbursement check of the missing pay, never got it. And still haven't to this day. I worked in a terminal in Mt pleasant mi. It's like they don't care at all about the terminals. We spent a very busy summer with trucks that didn't work, trucks with crappie lift gates, trucks with thermokings that never worked, crappie 4 wheel carts, pissed off customers because of management, long hours, routes that made zero sense, trucks that were made in the 80's, manual trucks that nobody knew how to drive, and empty promises. On top of all that, any time i had a scheduled day off, or a day off requested that my supervisors knew about weeks in advance,I would get called in to work and be guilted into it, putting work before my family once again. Then we get to winter. I specially asked my boss with me being the only full timer year round there, if I would be getting atleast 40 hours a week or if I had to find a winter job. He said I would be guarenteed 40 hours a week. Not even two weeks into winter, I was lucky to get 25 hours. I have had multiple complaints from customers that I built a relationship with about management is rude, insulting, etc.. if there was a call, that call wouldn't get reported for sometimes over a week, and I would get yelled at because it took me a week to get there. There are many customers who lie about how much ice they have because they know this. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever worked for. My family and home life is in jeopardy because of the amount of hours I worked and how much money I am still owed because of them. If you're reading this post and are considering employment with this company, I highly advise against it.
