Pros

A sense of giving something back to the community. Freedom between calls.

Cons

Mileage only paid between calls at 25p a mile. Unguaranteed hours. Expected to do weekend work but the company charge clients double at weekends but only pay caregivers an extra £1.

I made connections with my clients

Cons

Staff are not appreciated enough and theyre told last minute to change shifts. Not given days off which are due. No mileage despite driving more than caring
