They can't guaranty to how many days or hours they can get for you. Sometimes you could hardly work much in a week. It depends on the clients that sign up and what they want as service for loved one(s)

No benefits or room for advancement. The pay was laughably low, and seemed to border on illegal. Overnight shifts were paid a flat rate of $60 for 12 hours of work, making your pay average out to way less than minimum wage. I had several clients who required home health care (help with bathing, using the restroom and changing depends, vitals, etc.), but was only paid at the companion rate of $8 an hour. Companion pay and home health pay were paid out on separate paychecks, so even with working 40+ hours per week, you still couldn't accrue overtime.
