I loved my job...caring for the people. I do need to clarify this was on Central Avenue. All "Home Instead" have different owners.

Cons

I didn't feel appreciated. I worked overtime every week ( np) but I missed out on fun employee events. I suggested that I'd get a gift card or something no never happened. After my 2nd anniversary I asked Mark if I could get a paid vacation his response was yes and I could of last year too but it was now to late. Wow! They never put it on my checks so I never knew. Never just paid me. I was one of the most requested employees but not appreciated at all. Never go back.

Cons

I was accused by a client of sleeping on the job, which I had not done, so was put on probation but was not told what that entailed. I signed a paper saying that the client said I fell asleep and that was it, but unbeknownst to me, they added a bunch of stuff to the paper later, making it look like I agreed to arbitrary probation terms, which I knew nothing about. A week later I was fired for breaching these probation terms I had not agreed to. I was denied unemployment because of the signed paper to which I had "agreed" to the probation terms.
