Hello it’s Nigel here Rest assured that over the last 12 months we have invested over eight million pounds in equipment in your division and added over 200 new vehicles to ensure our field team have the best tools to do the job. We take the opinions of our people and our people charter values very seriously and its disappointing that you don’t see this in your role. All ASMs have access to my email and number so please call, email or come and see me on specific issues that we can resolve.

Pros

Having predominantly worked in TV and the arts I really wasn't expecting to have SO MUCH FUN at HomeServe! Eight months ago I took on this role with the mind-set that getting a boring day job would encourage me to focus on other projects I’d planned to work on in my spare time. Boring I said… my, oh my, was I wrong! At HomeServe senior leaders hold no bars on creativity and as someone in a creative role this was music to my ears! Of course the creative element is just one function but what I’ve discovered is that regardless of department or role, whatever your skill, if you’re a hard worker and passionate about what you do you will succeed at HomeServe. On another note, have you ever worked in a place where the Chief Marketing Officer buys everyone pizza (and I’m talking 325 pizzas!) just because? No, me neither, up until now. So if you’re looking for a place where you’ll be valued as an employee, HomeServe is the place for you. If you’re looking for a place with great career progression, HomeServe is the place for you. AND most importantly for me – if you’re looking for a place where people are passionate about the work they do, HomeServe is the place for you. There’s a real sense of family at HomeServe and it’s a family I am proud to be part of.

Cons

I really can't think of any.

Pros

The Focus on doing whats right for our customers is amazing and giving everybody in the business the ability to do that is amazing The people who work here are fantastic from new starters right the way to the top. How many companies let you have a personal development meeting with the chief financial officer? The company gives you everything you need to succeed. From mentor sessions to regular team meetings.

Cons

Sometimes the sustained heavy workload can be a little difficult to cope with but that's work, and it does make the weekend come around a lot quicker.
