Pros

People are smart, hard working, good-to-the-core and buy into the company’s social mission. Product is great and solves a problem that all local businesses have. Killer, involved investors who believe in what we are doing. Fun office environment that celebrates our customers and our team.

Cons

Definitely not a 9 to 5, so know that going in. Still a scrappy start up, so those looking for a super cushy Silicon Valley office/company should probably look elsewhere.

Homebase isn't a fluff startup with a solution in search of a problem, it's got genuine product-market fit solving a big issue for the owners, managers, and employees of local businesses. This company is going places.

Cons

The company operates with a pretty lean team and many coworkers are remotely located in different time zones, which can make broader team communication and inclusion challenging but open transparency and good investment in communication tools helps to mitigate this.
