Pros

Work from home Great mission in helping Aging seniors Vacation time Resources and encouraging for mental health, working here is very stressful There are some great managers, but they will be moved into other positions. 401k offered and good health insurance New positions and departments, company growth

Cons

Constantly working with new managers, who are not experienced Micro managing managers who “bully” Pay- they say it is based off National average- which should not take place as majority of employees live in Tx, NE or CA. Low raises(1-4%), they make “promotions “ but then it’s called a “lateral” move giving you more “ experience” HR dept, submit a request - responses by email. Difficult to speak or meet with team.

We want to provide a supportive and rewarding work experience for our employees, and recognize the importance of positive and transparent internal communications -- especially as we have shifted to a distributed work model. Some of the things we do to promote transparency include monthly All Hands meetings to keep the entire company connected and informed. We’ve also been training managers on designing more thoughtful meetings and communications. And we have a robust Open Door policy and welcome feedback from all of our employees, both directly and anonymously. We believe a high degree of transparency can enhance the overall company culture, so it’s something we’re committed to.

Pros

Always jobs available, so many clients need CarePros. Clients are wonderful to work within their homes. Tough jobs some days, but so many rewarding days too.

Cons

I am missing the employer/employee connection I had with Home Instead before the buyout.... or pairing of the companies. HONOR does not keep in contact with CarePros and how they are doing. They did not let me know my client had changed company service. I had to hear it from my Client. Not happy with the new changes.
