Startup with huge potential

Pros

I've been working for Horizon3.ai for over a year now. I really enjoy people I work with on a daily basis. This also isn't my first startup so I'm used to the quick pivots, scaling aggressively, growing pains of new strategies and processes, and understanding that we always operate with a bit of unknown because this is a new space. I also like the level of direct impact and autonomy I have with role. If your a person looking for a challenging role where you can see your work reconized across the entire company then this is for you.

Cons

As mentioned above, there have been a lot of changes in the last year. They're expected as we "grow up" but changes to get tiring some times. Remote work can be challenging for some people.

Horizon3.ai has been a great company to work, learn, and grow at! Since my time with the company I have learned so much from every employee, both past and present. The mix of military and seasoned industry professional has created a unique culture that allows us to easily pivot based on market demand or new threats. I enjoy having the flexibility to manage my team as I see fit and prioritize tasks based on leadership guidance.

Pros

The product seems solid, and there are pockets of teams that seem to be better treated and less affected by the toxic work environment.

Cons

The CEO is a complete narcissist. He publicly shames employees in meetings and in the company Slack channels. No one will stand up to him for fear of being one of his next targets. It is THE most toxic place I’ve ever worked.
