Pros

I resonate with the company culture here most especially if you're in sales. While it is an independent/smaller company, the leadership team here is seasoned and passionate with a "can-do attitude". It's no surprise that the hotel has earned so many accolades! Our sales leader is very supportive and compassionate. The company is also expanding its footprint, so career growth is imminent!

Cons

I cannot think of any at this time.

Pros

- Leadership is supportive and seems to genuinely care about helping the team grow professionally - Problems are solved very collaboratively, which lets you feel like you're part of the solution and development of the hotel since it's new - The leadership team is very accessible and approachable, and are open to suggestions

Cons

- It's very fast paced, which can be a lot if you're not used to multitasking - The hotel is new, so there are still challenges to solve

Concerning culture

Pros

Great investment property. Nothing good to say about leadership - even a little bit.

Cons

During my tenure, I experienced what I felt was a deeply unprofessional leadership culture. Management communication frequently relied on intimidation rather than coaching, including instances where managers were yelled at behind closed doors and confronted in ways that felt inappropriate for a professional workplace. I also observed a concerning lack of confidentiality, with personal matters that should have remained private becoming topics of discussion among staff. Instead of fostering trust, accountability, and respect, the environment often created anxiety and uncertainty for team members. Hospitality thrives on strong leadership and positive culture, and unfortunately my experience reflected the opposite. I would strongly encourage leadership to invest in professionalism, emotional intelligence, respect for employee privacy if they hope to improve retention and workplace morale.
