Pros

Big brand recognition on resume

Cons

Everything. They will lie to you during recruitment and orientation is a joke compared to what it’s like to actually work at HubSpot. If you are a talented designer do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. CRAFT is the new buzzword which basically means “make things pretty” because any designer who is not focused purely on visuals is severely neutered. There is no respect for design within teams, the design system team itself has no clue what they are doing, and the whole design org is dysfunctional. The lack of skill among designers is actually astonishing, likely because the skilled ones left. Many of the perks of working at HubSpot were cut. Limited PTO and no WLB.
