Remarkable Onboarding Experience

After 6+ years at agencies, to say that I was nervous to start at HubSpot was an understatement. I was starting in a new role and in a brand new industry, but after my first day of training, I knew I had made the right decision. The onboarding experience was something I had never encountered before and made my transition comfortable. Beyond product training, thanks to my manager I had my own training and onboarding projects that set me up for success. I continue to learn each and every day at HubSpot and love working for a company that is so transparent, flexible and values each and every employee as individuals embracing their strengths and differences.

Cons

It's truly up to each and every manager to set up new hires for success. The L&D team is fantastic with robust product training, but I'm not sure I would have felt so secure in my new role if I hadn't had the specific onboarding projects from my manager afterwards, so I would continue to encourage managers to put the effort into thinking about the best way to train new hires for specific roles to ensure success.
