      Some of the most brilliant engineering minds work here. The company has a good future and stability. The culture is uncertain after acquisition by Echostar

      The work environment is stale, most of the Upper Management have been in their roles for decades and are not going anywhere. The company has fallen into a comfortable lull, and after acquisition by Echostar benefits were reduced drastically

      Decent pay.at first even if did not keep pace with cost of living.

      Cons

      Management ignored engineer suggestion in late 1990s and early 2000s which resulted in losing a massive share of consumer satellite communications, closing most of San Diego operations, and forcing workers to attend training in "Pathway to Dialog", as management blamed engineers for management mistakes. Disfunctional company.
