      Pros

      Good environment to start work with it. school tuition assistant and training program provided. cafeteria food is excellent and the price is reasonable.

      Cons

      Health insurance only has one choose, which associate with HSA account. It is good for health people, but it is not good for older people or have new born family.

      There was not a great program in place for interns. Work needs to be done on some rotational training program for entry level.

      + Easy technical job (Not lot of challenges) [ There is really no positive to work @ Hughes except that you may have settled closer to office and you just need some job to keep up with family ]

      Cons

      Tech: - Still RIP protocol being used :) - Lot of technical people in managerial positions. So, no freedom for engineers to work independently - No peer reviews for new designs. For most part senior directors / directors decide what should be done technically and engineers have to go implement - HR team is really bad - No process internally within Hughes to address inter-team related issues. Such problems contiue to hang on until it hurts end customer and thats when issues gets some attention and effort from staff to get fixed - Pay scale is lower than market rate
